Great for what I needed...
Was going to see a band at the Shepherds Bush Empire and wanted somewhere cheap and friendly to stay. This hotel was exactly that with kind, friendly staff and only 5 mins from the venue. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was great and served to us which by the friendly staff. I think this is a family run business.
Very good value for money
The manager and his assistant were absolutely charming! They were kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom, though small, were clean and totally adequate for our needs. We were served a lovely breakfast each morning – cereal, toast, croissants – by a very sweet lady. Good rate and close to underground station and bus stop. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling on a budget.
Disgusting, smelly, rude staff.
The hotel was smelly, the toilet wouldn't flush properly, hot water was a rarity, the toilet paper was damp, towels were not clean, and the staff were incredibly rude when any complaints were made. The floor of the room was filthy, it looked like no one had ever bothered to clean.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at , it completely ruined my holiday in London.
A good place to stay
I'm from Brazil. I was traveling with my wife by car and find this hotel passing in front of it. It was a good experience. The subway was near. The room was very clean. I had a place to park my car. But what think it was the best was the kindness of the manager. He even helped me to carry my heavy luggage upstairs. It's very rare in Europe...
Do Not Book
In Sep I booked to stay at this hotel as i was going to the INXS gig nearby. 24 hours before i was due to stay here (OCT 12) I received an email saying that my booking was cancelled. I rang the hotel & spoke to a very rude man who told me that i had cancelled the room, I assured him that was not the case & that i still required the room. He then rang me back & agreed that it was their error but they still couldnt accomodate me or offer to help me find another hotel at such short notice.
Obviously i cant comment on the hotel but if their customer service is anything like their hotel then i would advise you to find another hotel.
I also contacted hotel/com whom i had booked the hotel through. They apologised & explained that there was nothing they could do as they only advertise the hotel on their site.
