Toptable says about Sake No Hana
Sake No Hana restaurant in St. James has a great pedigree. After the huge success of Hakkasan and Yauatcha, restaurateur Alan Yau was inspired to open a fine dining Japanese restaurant in perennially stylish St James's and Sake No Hana was born. Inspired by Japanese izakaya sake bars with their traditional low seating, the interior is modern and minimalist, with sleek wooden tables, glossy black surfaces and bamboo-effect walls. The menu is divided in the Japanese way, by methods of cooking rather than by course -- ideal for those who like to graze and share. Popular dishes include miso Chilean sea bass and wagyu beefsteak with wild mushrooms, wasabi and mirin sake sauce. The sommelier with guide you through the mainly French wine list and the exquisite sakes and shochus.

I booked Sake No Hana for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and it was fantastic. The spicy tuna rolls were delicious, and the seared sushi platter was just phenomenal. We will definitely be going back.
Sake no Hana great restaurant w excellent service. The sushimi, grilled aubergine and mixed tempura are particularly good. Surely one of the best in London. With 50% off this also represent excellent value for money. Would surely recommend.
I would say it is good not wow.... And it is nicely decorated place and with the 50% offer is great. Not too expensive for group of 6 ppl.. Would recommend to friends.. Only my complain is the portion is kinda small.. overall it is excellent place for couple and friends and family.. only thing i am disappointed, it is not child friendly as described.
The 3 of us visited Sake No Hana on the 50% off food offer for an early Sat eve supper. The food was very good - Japanese staples well cooked although nothing startingly original. The sashimi was particularly good : incredibly fresh, amongst the best I have ever eaten. The service was decent and the setting/ambience very stylish. It would be expensive without the offer though.
Sake No Hana has great service and food, however, I do think that it is a little overpriced. I feel that the tempura provides some value. The black cod is also delicious.
