Fat Tire Bike Tours - London

Because the weather was soo nice (a sunny day in November), my friends and I decided to take the bike tour on our second day in London. I met Dylan and David, and they're the best. We went to the lot where the bikes were found, and I was kinda worried when I saw the bikes...they were a bit too big for me! Thankfully, David was thoughtful enough to bring out a smaller bike just for me. Small gesture but totally made me feel better. And the bike tour was just awesome! Dylan was a great guide and I listened to every fun fact. He even helped me with directions after the tour. Thanks for making my London trip memorable! I'll definitely do this again.

What a fun way to see London! I would recommend this tour during one of your first days as it is a perfect way to orient to the city and get acquainted with the history. Queensway station, the meeting point, is extremely easy to find and the guides are waiting right at the entrance/exit with signage, so you can't miss them. One day the tour was closed due to a marathon, and even though this closure was advertised, Liam and David were there to assure that no one was without a point of contact.

Our guide was Liam. He was an exceptional speaker, easy to hear, and very knowledgeable. Half way through the tour, expect to stop off for lunch and a pint at a local pub! The history and the sights were incredible. We learned a lot that we didn't know, and would not have known, had we not taken the tour. One of the neatest portions of the tour was to see and sit at the Memorial for Princess Di, and to see Windsor Palace, her home. Of course, the Tower of London is quite impressive as well!! Go see what your favorite attraction is!

I highly recommend this tour to anyone. The ride is not difficult and the bikes are comfortable. There are plenty of stops and a break for lunch. My 10 year old and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Actually, we have become Veteran's at this point. We have now toured with Fat Tire Bike Tours in 3 of the 4 cities it is offered in. Barcelona, here we come!!!

I'm so glad I read the review on this tour and decided to go. My husband and I had five teenages with us on our one week trip to London in October. This tour couldn't have been better. Fun, fun, fun!!!! The kids loved it - we loved it.
