A free exhibition of contemporary portrait photography at London's National Portrait Gallery.

The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize presents the very best contemporary portrait photos from around the world.

The competition is open to all. This year 2,400 photographers submitted 6,300 images. The exhibition features 60 of the best portraits, including the winner and runners up.

The show includes editorial, advertising and fine art images, exploring a wide range of themes and styles.

Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize: The Winner

The winner of this year's prize is Paul Floyd Blake. 

The winning photo portrays 13-year-old swimmer Rosie Bancroft, who hopes to compete in the 2012 Paralympic Games.

Born in London in 1961, Blake took his first photo aged 13, but didn't begin his photographic career until he was 40.
