Adapted toilet facilities or "loos" have improved in London. Increasingly, restaurants, cafés, pubs, shopping areas, hotels, museums, attractions and stations have accessible loos. If you are not a customer of the business, use of the lavatory is at the discretion of the service provider.

National Key Scheme

Britain has a National Key Scheme to open many of the public loos available for disabled people. There is a charge of about £4 for the key and £10 for the guidebook detailing their locations across the country (plus postage and packing).
